Because we use Stripe for payment processing or other business services, you should also be aware that Stripe collects and processes certain personal data on our behalf or jointly, and you may wish to review Stripe’s Privacy Policy for further details.

2.1 Information you provide
·   Contact information: name, email address, phone number, mailing address (when you submit a form, schedule a call, become a client).
·   Payment/transaction information: when you purchase services from us, you will provide billing information (such as billing address, payment method details) which we may process or direct Stripe to process.

·   Communications: any messages you send us by email, chat, social media or similar.
2.2 Information collected automatically

·   Cookies and similar technologies: We and our third-party service providers (including advertising and analytics tools) may use cookies, web beacons, and other tracking technologies to collect usage information and tailor the Website experience.
·   Payment/transaction data via Stripe: When you pay for services (or we charge for services), the payment processor (Stripe) may collect data such as transaction amount, date, payment method, card type, billing address, and other information necessary to complete the payment and meet regulatory obligations. Note: Some of this data may be collected by Stripe even if you do not complete a transaction.

3. How we use your personal data
We use personal data for the following purposes:
·   To provide our services (marketing strategy, campaign execution, website design, paid media management).
·   To process payments and manage billing, including via Stripe.
·   To communicate with you: responding to inquiries, scheduling consultations, sending updates, delivering reports and deliverables.
·   To improve and enhance our Website and our service offerings, via analytics and feedback.
·   To personalize your experience (e.g., content, offers) and support our marketing efforts.
·   To comply with legal and regulatory obligations (including those of our payment-processor partner Stripe, fraud detection, anti-money laundering, etc.).

4. Disclosure and sharing of your data
We may share your personal data in the following circumstances:
·   With our service providers and subcontractors (e.g., website hosting, analytics, advertising platforms, payment processors like Stripe) to help us deliver services, operate our business, or fulfill our contractual obligations.
·   With Stripe: when you make a payment (or attempt to make a payment), Stripe will process your transaction data, and this information may be shared with banks, card networks, and other financial institutions as required.
·   With our affiliates or business partners (only as necessary and with appropriate safeguards).
·   If required by law or to respond to lawful requests (e.g., law enforcement, regulatory bodies).
·   In the event of a business transaction (e.g., merger, sale, reorganization) where your data may be transferred to a successor entity, subject to confidentiality and data-protection commitments.

5. International transfers
Some of our service providers (including Stripe) or subcontractors may be located outside your country. If your personal data is transferred to another country, we will ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place (such as contractual clauses, cross-border transfer mechanisms) to protect your data in accordance with applicable law.

6. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights with respect to your personal data:
·   The right to access the personal data we hold about you and to request a copy.

·   Where processing is based on consent, the right to withdraw consent at any time.
·   If applicable, the right to data portability (i.e., receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format).
If you wish to exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the contact details in Section 10. We will respond in accordance with applicable law.

7. Cookies and tracking technologies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies on our Website. You may have control over cookie settings via your browser or via an on-site cookie-consent tool (if provided). For example, you may disable cookies, but doing so may limit certain features or degrade the interactive experience of the Website.
We also use analytics platforms, advertising networks, and social media platforms which may place cookies or track usage across websites. We employ reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY

Effective Date: October 1, 2025
Last Updated: October 28, 2025

Thank you for choosing Northstar Marketing Strategies (“we”, “us”, “our”). We aim to provide exceptional marketing and creative services tailored to your business. Because every project and engagement is customized, we’ve established the following Refund and Cancellation Policy to set clear expectations.

1. General Policy
All sales and payments made to Northstar Marketing Strategies are final unless otherwise specified in a written Service Agreement.
Due to the nature of our work — including strategy development, creative production, and media management — significant time and resources are allocated immediately upon project start.
Refunds are therefore generally not available once services have commenced, except in limited circumstances outlined below.

2. Deposits and Upfront Payments
·   Deposits or retainers are non-refundable once paid, as they secure project scheduling and initial work.
·   If you choose to cancel before work has begun, and no creative or strategic work has been initiated, we may (at our discretion) issue a partial refund of your deposit minus administrative or setup costs.

3. Subscription or Ongoing Monthly Services
If you engage in a recurring service (such as paid media management, social media management, or ongoing marketing retainers):
·   You may cancel future billing with 30 days’ written notice before your next renewal or billing date.
·   All fees already paid are non-refundable, but services will continue through the end of your paid period.
·   Early termination of a fixed-term contract (e.g., a 3- or 6-month commitment) may result in a prorated early termination fee, as stated in your Service Agreement.

4. Project-Based Services
For one-time projects (such as website design, branding, or campaign setup):
·   Once creative or technical work has begun, refunds will not be issued.
·   If the project is canceled by the client before completion, any work completed up to the cancellation date will be invoiced and payable in full.
·   If the project is canceled by us (e.g., due to unforeseen circumstances or non-payment), we will refund any unearned portion of prepayments for work not yet performed.

5. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
If you believe a charge has been made in error, please contact us directly at jaclynvictoria27@gmail.com before initiating a chargeback or dispute with Stripe or your payment provider.
We will make every reasonable effort to resolve the issue promptly.
Unauthorized or unfounded chargebacks may result in suspension of services and additional fees to recover costs.

6. Refund Exceptions
Refunds may be considered in the following limited circumstances:
·   Duplicate payment made in error.
·   Technical error resulting in overcharge.
·   Inability to deliver the agreed-upon service due to factors within our control.
All refund requests must be submitted in writing within 7 days of the transaction date.

7. Cancellations by Northstar Marketing Strategies
We reserve the right to cancel any project or service at any time if:
·   The client fails to provide required materials, information, or approvals;
·   The client engages in abusive, unethical, or unlawful conduct; or
·   Payment obligations are not met.
In such cases, any unused portion of prepaid fees (for work not yet performed) may be refunded at our discretion.

8. Processing Refunds
Approved refunds (if applicable) will be processed through Stripe and credited back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days of approval.
We are not responsible for delays caused by your bank, credit card provider, or Stripe.

9. Contact Information
If you wish to cancel a service, request a refund, or discuss billing issues, please contact us at:
